Awesome as a concept. Drawn and written by women. Featuring female characters.

First, the art is all gorgeous. I love the little illustrations that decorate the pages between stories.

As an anthology, some stories are a lot stronger than others. Some stories are very short and end curtly. Like I would have loved to have seen more of Arcee, for instance.

What surprised me were the personal stories. One of them was a mini bio about an author's relationship to My Little Pony. As someone who also grew up on the show, I found it relatable. The only story that really touched me was the story about the person who helped design Windblade.

It's just fun to see these creators enjoying the same products that they end up working with in their careers later on.

If they do this again, I hope they'll do some cross series stories and maybe give each of the stories more pages.
