I don’t care where this series takes me because i’ll follow blindly. <br /><br />The romance, the pining, the reluctant lovers, the suffering in silence, the comical side characters, the beautiful imagery and writing. All of it was just beautifully done and I’ve never been so sad/excited to wait for the next book.

This series has my favorite literary couple of all time and for that reason alone I’ll never be able to not love any of these books, if you love Evangeline & Jacks from OUABH and Aaron & Juliette from Shatter Me PLEASE read this book!!!!!!

I wish I could say the second time reading was better but unfortunately Kamran was there the whole time reminding me how much I hate him 🤺 but it was still so good

I wanted more from this. It felt like not enough (plot important) things happened. Almost like a book version of an anime filler episode. Mafi did very heavy handedly imply a future romance between Huda and Kamran. The way they bickered reminds me of Kate and Anthony from The Viscount Who Loved Me. Overall, the book felt very unfulfilling and I’m not sure if I want to continue the series once the next book is released.

OH GOD, I CANNOT PHYSICALLY BREATHE. AlizehCyrus, oh my god. Cyrus is the real yearner. no one yearns for a woman like does. “as long as he lived, he would know her scent, the sound of her voice walking towards him.” SEE? i am so feral for him. and Alizeh, she is simply put, ethereal! she is already a queen. and she will be so powerful, i am telling you all. 

“Why are you scared?”
“Because, You’re never here when I wake up.”

i love vengeful strong women. and Alizeh is exactly that. she is going to destroy Iblees, i just know it. 

and Omid is such a cute boy! i hope tahereh doesn't do anything evil to him. Huda is so adorable, i love her. i used to ship Kamran and Huda in the beginning because their banter is so fun but i find him annoying now so i don't know. 

AlizehCyrus endgame or i will end it all. cannot wait for the next book

Okay wow i was pissed yesterday LMAO tell me why I thought this would be a trilogy? Turns out there’ll be 2 more books coming out… Anyways I went into this one thinking it would be the final book so… yeah

I have a couple things I need to say about this book

1. I loved that we got to know Cyrus more like wow this dude… absolutely loved his backstory it was so unexpected but it made me love him even more lol
2. I’m officially a Kamran hater 
3. To be honest this book was only vibes and no plot just like the last 2 books LOL… I think this just might be Tahereh Mafi her writing style though idk…
4. CYRUS HIS FATHER??? Wow I was in shock I did not expect that😭 But it does make sense like of course that happened… 
5. Lots of plot holes LOL… Also like the conversation Cyrus had with Hazan about his mother and father? Like why did we get no conclusion i wanna know so bad ugh
6. Cyrus and Alizeh… I love them!!! THE MISCOMMUNICATION PISSED ME OFF THOUGHHHH WOW like if they just talked for a minute the last few scenes wouldn’t have happened… 

Anyways I did love reading this (finishing thjs jn 1 hour and 38 minutes oh myyy) but I just wish this book was a little bit longer like i feel like this could’ve been a trilogy if Tahereh made every book like 100 pages longer Idk… 
I can’t believe I have to wait another year for the next book like this might be my 13th reason…

4/5 for the vibes

i’m astounded. entirely speechless. when i say that i haven’t truly read a book since “these infinite threads” i’m not even lying. the death hold that miss tahereh holds on every fiber of my being is just unmatched. i went into this book with the utmost excitement and highest expectations and i was in no way, shape, or form let down. this superseded every single wish i harbored and my only complaint is that i must wait once again for more.
