it was too insta-lovely for my taste but i cannot rate a talia hibbert book below 3 stars because i simply love her writing

this was probably my least fave out of all the talia hibbert books I've read so far, but it still had that gripping factor that all her books have and I eat up so good😌 my main issue here is that it was SO fast paced in terms of the romance, like getting it on the first time they meet is SO weird considering it's a workplace romance and he's HER SUPERIOR. and IN HIS OFFICE ? it was really weird and not believable at all. I wasn't expecting it to turn so dark but it was actually interesting to see this other side of Talia's writing! and as always, the banter is top tier and the mmc pining is delicious🤤
