talia hibbert really took one of my most disliked tropes and had the audacity to make me LOVE IT. honestly i picked this up on a whim and i wasn't expecting to enjoy it this much?? but boy was I WRONG. it was SO funny,,, i was grinning from the moment i started it and even laughed out loud in some parts!! chastity and luke serve enemies to lovers but only one of them thinks they're enemies while the other has the biggest crush EXCELLENCE!! they have the best dynamic and you cannot convince me otherwise. i just wish this wasn't over the course of three days? it struck me as very insta-lovey which i usually don't like but in case of this books, it didn't honestly bother me much because i had a blast reading it. i'm really glad i decided to pick it up!!

WELCOME TO MY NEW OBSESSION+???? oh my god. oh my GOD. this was SO. jfc. a pining werewolf who adores a woman that happens to be a huntress whose sole purpose is to kill him slowly and painfully???? and he's turned on every time she tries???? what the FUCK. I actually loved this so much, it's only flaw is that it's not LONGER. I have no words I will be rereading this soon

I loved this book! It was just what I needed without knowing! AND it’s set in October during Halloween and for some reason I’ve been craving a Halloween holiday read! Chasity is a huntress from a long line of hunters who has never killed a werewolf due to a prophecy made. at her birth that her first kill would rip out her heart. Luke is a werewolf who has accomplished extreme control over his animalistic urges that his wolf gives him. Chasity is Luke’s mate and conflict ensues! I loved how Chasity and her family is a family of women hunters who are all badass. It was a refreshing change having a heroine who is more predisposed to a violent nature and a more reserved, cautious hero who instead works at being peaceful. Luke is also straight up adorable. He is the perfect cinnamon roll character and is just what I needed! My one problem: this wasn’t long enough for me! This felt really rushed and squished into novella form when it would have flowed a lot better (in my opinion) as a full length novel. I wanted more interactions and relationship growth between the characters along with more of both of their families. I also wish that there was more than just this book in this world but that’s not really a complaint, just a desire! This was a fantastic, quick read and I devoured it in one sitting! Perfect for those looking for a quick easy read to unwind and relax with!

This was such a quick fun read! The spice was delicious and the romance (chase scene) was fantastic! Recommend if you like shifter/paranormal romance!

Okay I wasn't expecting this to be as good as it was for a kind of steamy novella lol 😂

This was a very short, very funny paranormal romance book. At only 8 chapters long there wasn't much of a plot. A family of werewolf hunters believes all werewolves are mindless and soulless and they hunt them indiscriminately until they come across one who is different. That werewolf realizes that one of the daughters of the hunting family is his mate, and while he falls for her she tries to kill him. It's funny, steamy, and very much a wonderfully short read. I hope she'll eventually write more paranormal romances. Also, this has great representation of consent.

So short, but so good. Great description of Weres. Loved the h/H-made me laugh out loud. Parents' acceptance, while nice, was a bit unbelievable. Wish it was longer

I don't typically read paranormal romance, but I love Talia Hibbert and I've recently discovered that I'm over Christmas-themed romances (okay, not really OVER them, but they are so obvious) and all I really want are Halloween ones! A man has been visiting Chastity Adofo's coffee shop every day, but he isn't really a man. Well, he's definitely MALE, but he's also definitely a werewolf, and Chastity is out to prove to her family she's ready and able to live up to their family business, no matter what a witch prophesied. So what if that witch prophesied Chastity's first kill would rip her heart out? If Chastity has anything to say about it, she'll be the one ripping out this were's heart from his hunky, delicious looking chest. Luke found his true mate's scent after being chased by a pack of huntresses, a scent which led him to Chastity. Determined to woo her and not scare her, Luke is delighted when he's finally able to get up the nerve to ask her on a date. What follows is a delightful, saucy, and funny dance between a woman out to murder a werewolf, a werewolf determined to seduce her even if he has to put up with a bit of stabbing. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
