This was like a mix of GOT in terms of fantasy, and The Witcher in terms of plot. Only, there was no plot. I have never read a fantasy book that has put me to sleep as much as this one. It took me so long to read it because I could only get through a few pages at a time before I’d fall asleep…shockingly, finished the whole thing because I did want to see what was to happen! But there was really not climax, and no giant reveal and it didn’t make me want to read the rest of the series. I Did enjoy the world-building though.
