Plundered: a Sci-Fi Alien Warrior Romance

Tana Stone2020
My sister gave herself to the raider warlord to save me. Now I’m hunting him down and getting her back. I’ve never forgiven myself for letting that brute drag her off my ship, and I’ve done nothing but search for his horde of warships since he let my ship go free. Everyone knows the Vandar raiders are cruel and merciless, so when my ship is attacked by another of the alien race’s warlords, I expect to be blown out of the sky. Instead, he takes me as his captive. I may be the warlord’s prize, but no way will I submit to his demands. Even if his hard body and fiery eyes ignite a desire in me like nothing have before. Despite my captivity, I’m still determined to find my sister. This Vandar warrior might not have her, but he knows who does. If I can give him what he wants, maybe he’ll help me find her. But can I risk letting him control more than my body? Can I risk him plundering my heart? Plundered is a full-length sci-fi romance novel with a HEA and no cheating. It features steamy scenes on a raider warship, heart-pounding space battles, and some serious enemies-to-lovers heat. If you like dominant and dangerous alien warriors, alien abduction to seduction romance, and hot scenes with a happily ever after, you’ll love Plundered, the second book in Tana Stone’s sci-fi romance Raider Warlords of the Vandar series. Each book can be read as a standalone.

Still as good as book 1 imo.

Though, personally I have a preference for the couple of book 1 lol I remember how sweet it was.

In this book, we follow the older sister with a stronger personality so you can guess the banter was more intense. Even though the interactions were funny I got a tiny bit less attached to them.

What was interesting though was the intrigue. Tana Stone managed to create an interesting universe for the background of her stories. A classic space opera-ish background but working greatly. As a SF nerd I liked this aspect. It was interesting to see the continuity and the development of the political context we’ve been introduced to in book 1. I think that we even focused more on it than we did in book 1.

Which unfortunately made book 2 less spicy than book 1 😭

Finally, I can say that i am even more curious about how the political intrigues are going to evolve. And of course the next couple’s story. Let’s hope it’ll level up in spice 🙃

Another Raas is about to fall hard for a stubborn Earth female! Kaalek and Tara are such a passionate duo! He's still reeling over his brother mating with an Earthling and having the mating marks to prove it! Tara just wants her sister back and is willing to do just about anything to accomplish that - even hire a bounty hunter or two! The empire are hot for the Vandar too and they are not above using Tara and her crew for their own end! Tara makes a bit of an impression on Kaalek nothing like being caught with your pants down - literally! Kaalek may come over the take no prisoners Raas but he's got a tender side - it's just very well hidden LOL. Short, snappy read with plenty to keep you hooked.

He scooped me up off the ground, ignoring my swats to his chest.

“At this point, I am just trying to survive you.”
