This is a series tht I can understand why you would want all of the books before reading them. I really liked this first book and am excited to see what else happens in the rest of the series, getting answers to questions that developed. I do anticipated the spice increasing as the books go on too but the little. It we got here was a nice introduction. The writing is of a simpler style that is easy to understand and relate to as well. It did remind me to Meagan Brandy’s writing as I read the book. I’m ultimately excited to get the rest of the series and finishing it very soon!

not my typical book… but honestly i quite enjoyed this!! there was a LOT that i had to overlook (pretty typical for romance) but i was still able to enjoy how totally crazy the premise of the book is lol

This was my first by this author and I can tell you now it sure won’t be my last. I absolutely LOVE MK! Her inner monologue completely pulled me in. The only way this story could have been even better would be to have the POVs of Arch, Steele and Kody. I couldn’t choose a guy if I tried and I try with each RH I read. I guess with this book it would be Steele or Kody. I have a love hate feeling for Arch. 

Was I the only that though Bree could possibly be in love with MK and could be her stalker? Not that we know who it is but just wondering. 

If you enjoy RH Bully Romance you need to pick this one up today. You won’t regret it!

Started off okay and the writing is good. Then it became too farfetched for me and MK is just kind of naive?! I don’t know. She was so clueless and I get the guys are hiding shit and that her life is effed up, but also like she jumps to conclusions so fast and doesn’t actually TRY to have a conversation with the guys like a grown adult may…also why choose is probably not for me. I LOVE the guys but ehhh.

the first 3/4 chapters really put me off and confused by but after them i got straight into the book and oh my gosh it was WOW

although MK’s character is a bit annoying at times with her taking things too far at times and being slightly immature (although it’s kinda warranted), i still love her character and the fact she actually has a backbone unlike other FMCs

also archer, kody and steele are SO FINE, i literally love all of them so much you don’t even understand. IM OBSESSED with all of them, especially my baby cakes kody <333

the smut is literally amazing aswell, deffo not the spiciest, around a 2/5 imo but it’s so well written that i loved it 

THAT CLIFFHANGER THOUGH ?!? OH MY GOSH, so excited to start book 2

*the only reason for my 4.75 and not 5 is because of MK’s character at times and the beginning, otherwise an easy 5/5

La verdad no sé qué pensar de este libro.

Pensé que iba a tener una trama más intensa, me atrevo a decir que mi error fue tratar de comparar la escritura con la de otra autora que consumo mucho antes de leerla. 

Fue una experiencia muy rara, porque al principio estaba como “wait, wtf is that?”, porque en serio las situaciones y escenas bordeaban lo ridículo.

Madison Kate me desesperó mucho.
Archer es todo mandón y terco.
Steel y Kody son los únicos que realmente amé en todo momento.

Siento que la autora metió muchas tramas al mismo tiempo sin terminar de desarrollar lo otro. Por ejemplo, lo de Halloween y Riot Night, después con Madison Kate tratando de lidiar con su nuevo hermanastro y sus amigos, después tratando de lidiar con lo que estaba pasando en la escuela y su regreso, y a todo esto, le agregas el hecho del tema del acosador y del romance con cada uno de los chicos, es demasiado Y DEMASIADO RÁPIDO TODO.

Y todo resultó muy conveniente, tanto que, repito, bordeaba lo ridículo.

Pero.....

Me gustó. Es lo más gracioso de todo. Por más ridículo que me resultó todo, no podía parar de leer. Me devoré este libro. E inmediatamente pasé al segundo.

Es como esas cosas a las que te vuelves adicta y se vuelven un gusto culposo.

No puedo esperar a ver cómo se desarrolla la historia de Madison Kate, Arch, Steen y Kody en los siguientes libros.

this was one of the most recommended RH I had seen. not sure how I feel. I guess I give it 2.5.

this is definitely cheesy. no subtly to the fact that it will be a RH despite it being enemies to lovers. plot is predictable, but I like that there is a running plot and its not all spice. big cliffhanger ending. I am still not really sure I get RH with where the story left off.

I have a huge girl crush on Madison Kate. She is hilarious with sass, takes no crap from no one. She can hold her own with Archer, Steele and Kodiak. All over protective of her. Sexy, grouchy Archer is my favorite. Their banter is fun and good.

For hating these boys so much she sure does forgive them easily. lol This book is entertaining to read, fun, and spicy. The main lead goes between wanting to get mega revenge on the boys who ruined her life to licking the insides of their mouths. The BDE floating around this book irked me sometimes, but also I just don't like men that much.. BUT it is hella spicy and a lot of fun if you're looking for a *spicy* read.

i see this book all over booktok and bookstagram all the time and i was in the mood for a spicy RH read so thought i'd give it a go!

i love how you're dropped into this book in the middle of the shit show that is MK's life and it's fun to pick things up along the way and try and piece the story and history together.

Archer, Kody and Steele are all ridiculously attractive and it's very easy to develop a love/hate relationship with them all. they're your typical possessive asshole type but all 3 have very different personalities and even a soft side. Kody is my absolute fave, has been from the beginning!

i love how MK isn't your usual sulking girly type but instead has a rather angry side. she stands up to the guys and for herself, she isn't afraid to own her actions and no matter how much shit life has dealt her, she doesn't let it bring her down - she's genuiney inspiring in that aspect.

i love the way the story ended and i can't wait to find some more answers in book 2!

There’s way too much that happens in here to dissect but we can talk about Steele? Fuck that man is dreaaammmyyyyyyyyyyy, hot as Fuckkkkkk, funny as fuck & he’s a thug?! 

Kody😏 I been rooting for him since the night of the riot and I don’t think he got enough time with MK in this book so hopefully that changes in book 2.

Archer is confusing the hell out of me boy. He’s been such a fucking asshole from the beginning and I cannot figure out what his deal is. As soon as I start to find something good in him it disappears.

it’s taken 5 months to read this for some reason but i finally finished it. i didn’t really fall in love with the story, but i am curious, so i’m going to try and finish the series. let’s get real, steele and kody are my favorites, i hate archer. he’s so broody and i’m over his mysterious act and ”i’m protecting you” bs because i’m not buying it.

i both love and hate the relationship they all have. i get all relationships have their quirks and i don’t hate how open and sharing they are with Mk, but also i kinda just want her to choose one (steele because let’s agree they have more chemistry).

also, i want it to add up. will it make sense? i have so many freaking questions and i want answers. also, can we remove archer?? i seriously hate that guy. steele and kody all day everyday, but like archer is a pain and in my head he’s not attractive at all because his attitude and personality is gross.

I was instantly drawn into Hate, the first book in the Madison Kate series. MK is hilarious, and I laughed out loud so many times at her snarky remarks. 

Backstory: After a Halloween night gone wrong, Madison Kate is framed and then wrongfully charged for a crime she didn’t commit. After a year away MK finally returns home to take up residence at her dad’s house, only to find out the three boys who framed her live under the same roof. MK arrives ready to tough it out, but finds herself drawn to the very boys who ruined her life. While battling her feelings about the boys, secrets come to light that threaten not only MK’s life but her newfound feelings. 

The book ended in a cliffhanger of sorts and I’m so mad!!

This review is for all four books...because I could not stop to write this until it was all done. 

This series encompassed 5 days of late night reading because I could not get enough of Madison Kate and her guys!

Tate James writes such a fast pace, gripping story. Not only was the smut on point, but the plot was intense with fast-paced-can't-breathe-action that I could not stop reading even when my eyes were burning with sleep!

And don't get me started on those cliffhangers. I don't know what I would have done with the next book at the ready!

This is a serious must read for fans of reverse harems or people looking for a reverse harem to dip their toes in! 

Team Max Steele for life!
