I finished this book in one sitting and fell in love with every character.
I'm impressed with the writing evolution of Tate James and the development of her characters and plot through her books.
I can't wait to keep reading more about this story

Ahhhh Tate James. I sure did miss her crazy explosions and all the drama that comes with them lmao. 

Did not miss her cliffhangers but luckily I waited till this series was complete!! So curious to see where it will all go. 

I will say that I am not super invested in the mercenary plot line and more just interested in the relationships and how they’ll develop but either way, I know it will be quite a ride lol.

Feel like its going to get good and this was a teaser. Will be back for book 2 to see if it can reel me into this story. Knowing this author, I have every faith she is going to do that.

4.5 stars. Great start. Can't wait for the next one. Wish I would have connected a tiny bit more to some of the characters but I have hope for the next book.
