3.5 stars. buddy read This dived into some dark themes which were really interesting. The love triangle is amazing and I'm thriving for it. Just like the last book, I don't know if I should be liking this book but the cliffhangers are unreal.

This book made me lose sleep in the best possible way! I waited up for midnight to hit, instantly started reading, and couldn't put it down! I would say the steam factor in this series has been effectively doubled! (hehe) The playboy princes at Arbor Academy are definitely bringing on the heat, but this book is still so much more than that. There's so much action and intrigue packed into this story! More than wondering what will become of Violet and these princes romantically, I wonder what is going to go down politically! These authors have managed to create a beautifully intricate political system, without it being boring, that holds your interest and makes the story about more than just the romance/lust factor. I cannot wait to read the next one!!
