Kate

Tate James2020
Madison Kate is a new adult/college age dark romance with enemies to lovers/hate to love themes. This is a reverse harem series, meaning the leading lady has several love interests and she doesn't have to choose between them for her happily ever after. If this isn't your cup of tea, then this isn't the series for you. ♥ KATE is book 4 of 4 in the MADISON KATE series. The blurb below may contain spoilers for previous books, and I urge you not to read it until you've finished HATE, LIAR and FAKE. ◆◆◆ "I never miss." Riot Night changed my life. Coming back to Shadow Grove turned it on its head. I've been hunted, stabbed, stalked, tormented, and used. Hate fueled me, lies tore me apart, and in the end everything I thought I knew turned out to be fake. Except... Riot Night also brought Archer, Kody, and Steele back into my life. No matter how much I've fought it, hated it, been lied to or discovered the deceptions-I want them in my life. No one owns me. No one is taking them away. This is my life, dammit, and these guys are mine to keep. If a war is what it takes, then a war is what they'll get.

The end felt so rushed, like why? I didn't understand the reasoning behind the stalker

DO NOT READ THIS BOOK UNLESS YOU HAVE READ KATE! I REPEAT DO NOT READ THIS BOOK! IT’S NUMBER FOUR THE LAST IN THIS SERIES AND YOU WILL BE SO LOST IF YOU START HERE! Archer just smirked, that fucking prick. "You mean my wife?" he replied, smug as fuck. "Maybe we're just making things official in the public eye." I glowered. "Don't be an asshole, D'Ath, or I'll replace you in the wedding announcement. If it's a fake wedding, then what does it matter who I marry, hmm?" Kody grinned. "Oh, I like that idea. Pick me, babe. I'll look so fucking good in a tux." What an ending! I want to say it was perfect buuuut… Tate had to go and leave us with another surprise. Of course since this is the last book in the MK series MK and her men do get their HEA and it’s was pretty perfect to me. WHO IS HADES! If you enjoy RH Bully Romance you need to pick this one up today. You won’t regret it!

Meh. More of the same. It’s not that this was worse than the other books. But personally, I would have liked this in 3 books instead of 4. It felt like it just continued on and on and on with the same thing over and over without much plot development. Lots and lots of 🥵🥵🥵 holy cow. No complaints but lord. How much can one girl take?!? And the big reveal at the end was literally a 😖😖😖😖 for me. Yikes.

man did she make you wait a long time for the one scene everything was building up to. the ending was predictable. I mostly stuck this series out to see whodunit. this was my first RH it was interesting, but I don't think it is for me. spicy scenes were just hit or miss for me.

My least favorite of all the books plot wise, so much was happening and took so long to figure out who done it. However, smut wise? Absolutely yes

The only book in the series that I say was enjoyable. And a lot more plot than the others. But MK is still pretty spoiled, bitchy and childish. The guys are ok, seriously nothing wow about them. This series honestly is a whole 2.5-3⭐️ read. I wouldn’t read it again honestly 😂

** spoiler alert ** Our MK gets her happy ending and that is *spicy* and romantic and also plot fulfilling. No loose ends here! There was a point in this book that lulled a bit for me, but it picked right back up! Liked this as the final book in the series, it gave a nice ending and finally gave us the thing we've all been after for the past 3 books.. :P

3.5 ⭐️'s ok this series definitely didn't need 4 books but i am really glad i continued reading through all of them. bad things first - the stalker plot to me was built up so so much i was expecting the big reveal to be someone a lot closer to the gang. i was a bit disappointed with who it was tbh. but despite that, the connection of the stalker to MK was heart wrenching and even more so with the revelation of his past with one of her friends. Archer, Kody and Steele just became more and more loveable throughout the series and i didn't think that was possible. the spice just got better and better, this guys are HOT. i loved the dynamic between the 3 guys in this book so much, there was so many cute bromance moments and the banter was top notch. "Oh no? How have you two been choosing who sleeps in Hellcat's bed these last few days, hmm?" Archer scoffed. "Obviously we've been handling it like real men." He held his fist out, and Kody copied. Then... "Rock, paper, scissors." - one of my all time favourite scenes that will live in my head rent free forever. anyway overall MK series review is definitely 4/5 stars - great RH read!

Waitttt NOOOO! Who is Hades?! You can not end a series with a cliffhanger, but of course this series can. Onto the new Tate James series Hades to figure out the ending lol! This series was 100% amazing, I really really enjoyed the characters and the different twists throughout.

The end was very dark and threw me a little… but as far as raunchy romance goes, it was a fun series with an actual engaging plot so… I regret nothing.

This book was just not as good as the others. It was so long, and I feel like not a lot happened, and when things finally started to come together you just didn't get a lot of information about it.

First off, Kate deserves way more than five stars, just so we’re clear! Secondly, as much as I hate seeing MK & her boys go, I have to say that this was an absolute perfect end to their story. After that awful cliffhanger that had me chucking my kindle, Kate picks up where we left off in Fake. MK’s stalker ups their game in Kate, which I didn’t think was even possible, but what a twisted SOB! Tate had me on my toes the entire time trying to figure out who it was, and the reveal left me shook. So unexpected. After all the crap MK has been through, she FINALLY gets a happy ending. Home girl needed it after all that. I love this series so much, and I really am sad to let these characters go. I just hope that we get to see them as background characters in Hades’s story. I’m super pumped!

“I loved him. I knew it, and he knew it. But I just wasn’t ready to force the words past my lips. Things between us were still too fresh, too raw.” Madison Kate Danvers. Her life was filled with secrets, a stalker and 3 men that she quite literally fell in love with. They each bring out a different piece of her, and their love is just so soul shattering and beautiful, that they will do anything to protect their girl. MK truly came into herself in this last book. She was. “Kate,” is book 4 in Tate James’ Madison Kate Series. It is a dark RH Series and cannot be read as a standalone. For those of you that know the shattering cliffhanger that left us at the ending of book three, it picks right back up where it left off. (insert tears here) More pieces of the mystery are chipped wide open, and quite honestly, I wasn’t expecting the answers that I got by the end of the book. It was action packed, steamy, and quite honestly left me with more questions; setting us up for the 7th Circle Series that will be out in 2021 👀 If you haven’t had a chance to pick up this series yet, it’s a MUST read of 2020 for me. What a way to end the series and preface it for the next.

This series has been amazing from start to finish. Layers of twisty secrets, well developed characters, and growth. The emotional vulnerability in this one is soo good I can’t take it. I need to read this whole series again. The twist was insane and I’m so excited that there will be a spin off series. One of my favorite things about this series is Kody, Steele, and Archer. They are the best group of friends and they’re all unique. The relationships with MK are all their own thing but they mesh super well as a group. Loved this series as a whole. If you haven’t read it yet, it’s time to binge!
