Loved this extended epilogue! I loved going back into the world of Madison Kate and I loved the storyline here! I loved the multiple POVs that we didn't get in the full series as well. It really had me connecting to each of the guys in a deeper way! Fantastic read again! This series is one of my favourites!

I MISSED MK AND THE BOYS SO MUCH !!! THIS MADE MY HEART VERY HAPPY :))))

MK was my very first RH which, a word of advice, is a horrible way to start exploring this genre when nothing (except Hades) can compete. Tate does dark reverse harems to the backdrop of gangs and violence oh so well, that it should really be considered a sin. It has been a few months since I first read the Madison Kate series and despite recently finishing Hades, it was lovely to get a quick, surprise visit from this hot crew. As much as I went into this book knowing that it was a novella, I couldn't help but expect to still have my usual reaction of screaming WTF Tate? But that was not the case - and I am still unsure if I am relieved or disappointed? It definitely is a different experience! This book ties any loose ends up nicely and gives us some spicy scenes to help us get through the next couple of weeks while we eagerly await the release of Honey Trap. It was lovely to see that their lives have somewhat calmed down and that they're doing so well. I am ready for MK to become a boss b*tch and rule her kingdom with that fierce heart of hers! My only wish is that the mystery around the vault was drawn out a little more, giving the opportunity for more badassery from MK. With the Vault being the theme of the book, it felt like we skipped through that quite quickly. I would also like to have seen a little more of the other Shadow Grove crew brought in - maybe helping with the ring Zed gave Hades? Or even the night when the guys helped with taking the guy out with the sniper - ooh, or the guys teaching Gumdrop the ropes. All that aside, I loved the quick visit and hope this means there'll be more novellas revisiting characters from the other books - I'd love to see more of Seph, a check-in with Hades, and maybe even a series focused on Rex's boys. Ack, can I just stay in Shadow Grove forever! Thank you Tate for the Halloween surprise, this was certainly a treat and now I will waste away eating advent chocolates, while I wait for Honey Trap!
