I Don't Belong Here has a slow start, but doesn't take long to pick up. There are a ton of twists and turns that make for a fun read.

Charlotte takes after her grandmother in that they can both see ghosts. Charlotte does her best to avoid them by steering clear of cemeteries and the like. But when she starts seeing a specific ghost repeatedly, Charlotte has to decide whether this ghost is friend or foe, which leaves her with a mystery to solve. The ghost did creep me out, but I couldn’t wait to find out what would happen. The plot pulled me in and I was thoroughly invested in Charlotte’s story.

I definitely ended up with a few chills when I was reading this.

After witnessing a murder Charlotte begins to be haunted by the same girl she saw get killed. She is terrified and intrigued and just looking for a way to get away from her newfound ghost

My review: Wow. I actually loved this book so much. I adored the characters and I loved the “rules” around the ghosts. I did not see all of the twists coming and the one that I did see coming still didn’t happen the exact way I thought it would. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a creepy, bittersweet novel that doubles as a mystery. It’s a super quick read and I loved every page

This book started out kind of slowly, then it picked up really quickly to become a fast paced story with an amazing plot line and many twists and turns along the way. I loved Charlotte and her grandmother who really added a wonderful family dynamic. I also loved Dimitri as a best friend/ love interest. The ending of this story was absolutely fantastic! The end plot twist was written excellently and wrapped everything up very nicely.

This is one of the first Times that i Read this kind of paranormale young adult book but i really enjoyed it. "I was scared. So scared. Terrified." These are the first words of this book and they really had me hooked right from the start. I have to admit that most of the time i had no Idea what was going on in this book but that Just made it so much more satisfying when I figured it all out. This type of writing Just keeps you interested so that you don't want to put the book down for a single second. I Read this book in like no time because i had to know what would happen. The relationships (family, Friends and romances) in this book are really cute as well and they develop Beautifully. I do feel like i've been crying over books way too many time lately though BECAUSE THAT ENDING OMG i won't spoil but damn i was kot expecting that!!!! I Blame all you authors for Breaking my heart over and over again😂😂😂😂. I've you are a young adult reader and you are tired of reading the same old tropes and storylines, try this one nowwww!!!! It's worth it!! It's pretty short so you don't need a lot of time for it and it's a really Easy Read. I loved this one and i'm sure that you Will too!

I was given a free copy of I don't belong here in exchange for an honest review. 

I don't usually read a lot of paranormal young adults; however, the sound of the blurb was something that instantly grabbed my attention, and I knew straight away that I had to read. Throughout the reading process, I'd recommend this to a younger audience, definitely newer young adults - however, as someone 22, I don't see how people of older ages could enjoy the story. 

Although I found some of the story predictable, it did not take away from the stories enjoyment. Instead, I felt that it was an easy book to follow, enjoy, and immerse yourself in. As I'm not a typical paranormal lover, I was afraid that I might get a bit 'spooked'; however, the book didn't reach those intense levels that made you drop the book - the experience was pleasant, and at times the story felt almost thriller-like. 

I loved reading and following Charlotte and Dimitri's journey throughout the book. All of the characters throughout the book were nice to read about, and I found that there were no loose ends, everything sort of felt tied together, which was nice. And very easy to follow. I love that there was no confusion!!

Overall I enjoyed the story. It was enjoyable, and I'd definitely recommend it for the September-October season!!
