wow, wow, wow, wow. honestly my new favorite book. i knew that this was a show and i have been wanting to watch the show for forever but figured i would read the book first and im so glad i did. this book was genuinely incredible. i think in another life i was a rock band groupie in the 70’s and this book just did so much justice to Los Angeles in the 70’s, rock music, and artists as a whole. the story is amazing, and the love stories mended inside the story of the band coming together is beautiful. also at the end, when we find out who the interviewer was, amazing. i quite literally can’t wait to start the show and hope that it lives up to my expectations because this book was just incredible. i could reread this book forever.

how is it that when i love a book i can't talk about it!!! it's so stupid. i could rant about books i hate for ages and here comes miss daisy jones & the six stealing my heart and i can't even formulate a proper response to the question Why?

Gasp i love books where i can actually dislike characters. where they're developed and interesting enough for me to care about them at all, even more so Not Like Them. and, god, i hardly liked any man in this book PLSSSS i like that none of the characters here was perfect and i found myself liking them and disliking them and rolling my eyes at their decisions and biting at my nails in anticipation of their decisions. i LOVE this book. the format of an interview (WITH THE TWIST AT THE END?? HELLAURR???) really helped to get to know everyone. it was really, really great

I thoroughly enjoyed this book.  I really enjoyed the interview-style format. 

One thing I really respected about the author was how she handled the yearning and love triangle elements. It had (almost) all of the tension you’d expect from our main characters, but without relying on infidelity, which felt refreshing.

Going into this, I thought this book was a story of an affair that was being told in interview format. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is so much more then just an affair.

 Good and quick read. The ending is a real twist and has you questioning if everything that was said in the book was the entire truth. With character like Warren, Eddie, and Pete, we can trust their words were what had actually happened. I believe that Billy and Daisy did more that just kiss throat one time. I like that not only just it talk about the glamorous rock-n-roll life, but also the rough and nasty stuff. This book always had me question the what if? And I like it for that. Best character… Warren. Good book that has you think of the depth and truth of what is said. Also the style is very new and different. Very intelligent. All in all 9/10.

the interviewer reveal landed as corny for me. i think this book was perfect for adaption. it needs the music for real.

A good book and all the characters have their own beautiful voices and opinions. I found it good to read because it's also the same author and it's beautifully written though I have some issues on the ending.
