This novella was only about 35 pages and I have no idea how Teagan Hunter was able to write such a cohesive and heart-tugging story! I absolutely love Jonas and Frankie! 

They were so cute together and their ending was so perfect! 76% in and I honestly had no idea how their ending was going to go and if I would like it. 

Their ending is now one of my favorite rom-com endings of all time! Their journals are just EVERYTHING.

My favorite part of this story was most definitely Julian!!!! I will be forever hoping for Julian's story-- not likely but I'll still be hoping. He completely stole the show for me and is just *chef's kiss*

Frankie and Jonas were the typical Teagan Hunter characters but yet they were so different from all her other characters(I mean, they're all different but have similar structures). I'm always baffled by how she manages to write hilarious and obnoxious --in a good way-- characters in a way that just dig into you heart and stick to you like glitter.

A Slice of Love is a second chance romance. Frankie and Jonas have history. There has always been a connection, but things aren't easy. Dating is hard when you mom is the principal of your high school and your dad is a priest. Let's just say, Frankie's love life was a complicated thing.

Frankie and Jonas always had a connection and got close their senior year. Things got weird after certain events and even more so when they run into each other so many years later. I loved the glimpse of the past leading up to everything happening and how it connected with where this story starts off. Novellas can be hard. I mean, I need enough information, but there's only so much a novella can give.

Teagan Hunter gave us a fun balance between past and present, romance, drama and swooning. I really loved Jonas and Frankie. I have to say Frankie especially because she loves books. A Slice of Love left a smile on my face and made me really excited for the next installment in this series.

Part of me even wishes that this got a full length novel. I would've loved to have had their notebook a little more present in this story and seeing them find their way back to eachother. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed this story. It's just when you come to love characters so much, you can never have enough!

I finished this in one sitting. It was impossible to put down. What I love about Teagan Hunter is that the flow and pacing of her stories are just perfect. This was no exception. I was sucked in right from the beginning and had to keep reading right to the very end. I absolutely loved the chemistry between Jonas and Frank and their entire back story. These 2 were so sexy together and I loved every minute of it.
