Love Thy Neighbor

Love Thy Neighbor

Teagan Hunter2020
Don't fall for your roommate...especially when he's your best friend. Cooper Bennett is my best friend. That's all he is and all he ever will be. Nothing will change that. Accidentally seeing him naked? Please. So not a big deal. Having less-than-tame thoughts? I mean, have you seen this guy? Who could blame me? Kissing him? It was a one-time mistake, and it will not be repeated. Falling into bed with him? Uh-oh... It's fine. We're fine. We're Caroline and Cooper. Best friends until the end. Nothing has ever come our way that we couldn't survive together. Surely, we can handle this too...

“I’d never give him the satisfaction of knowing it, but sometimes I think Cooper was the best thing that ever happened to me.” omg really enjoyed this ?? made me realize how i miss reading best friends to lovers pls ,,,, been awhile i think 😣,,,, anyway so yes coopercaroline served the following tropes: ✔️ best friends to lovers + roomies ✔️opposites attract ✔️ guy pining for the girl first ✔️ ive learned that i like it in best friends to lovers when the guy is the one who’s willing risk to it all but the girl’s the scared one,,,, dunno hits different to me 😙 ✔️ so yes the guy does the first move(s) in going transitioning to the romantic territory 😎 ✔️some domestic scenes pls ✔️ the softness of the bffs to lovers hits different u guys,,,,,, ngl i shed some tears in addition: -caroline is babie pls ?? -um,,,, cooper is 6’5”???? hello??? what even -cooper calls caroline ‘care’ pls that cute -when caroline was thinking about like the in-between moments and the subtle moments like how much she wanted that???? um same???? i felt that in my bones ngl hfnffj -um yeah im pretty much sure caroline is my book twin, personality-wise stop jdndjd -them being friends for 10 years,,,, yeah i love that -pls the singing thing towards the end,,,,, that cracked me up xd

*Received ARC in exchange for an honest review* Rating: 4 Stars! https://bookboyfriendsdoitbetter.com/ I enjoyed this one much much better than the first one! I wasn't the biggest fan of Loathe Thy Neighbor (temporarily DNF'ed it but I do plan on going back to it). I loved the characters of the first book but I wasn't really intrigued with the plot but damn did I enjoy both in this book. I looove it when the MC's have been best friends for a long time and then realize they're in love with each other. It's one of my favorite tropes and Love thy Neighbor did not disappoint at all! Teagan Hunter always kills it with the humor and this one was no different! The banter, the tension, the CHEMISTRY between Caroline and Cooper gets me every time and I'm so glad I decided to continue on with the series. I am so excited for the next book!
