Emerson is a party girl who enjoys a good time, but she never goes too far and never gives her heart. She doesn't know what she's getting into when she meets Shaw for the first time. Shaw isn't about to play her games. He wants the real Emerson and isn't going to stop until he finds a way to bring it out of her. Did I mention Shaw is super sweet and swoony? Because he totally is. Sigh. I loved these two together. Their chemistry was off the charts and the passion between them was intense. I thoroughly enjoyed reading along as they discovered each other – and themselves. The romance was sweet, the sexy times just that and the feels abundant. Books like this are why I enjoy new adult so much. I wouldn't call Tease angsty, but it definitely packs an emotional punch. I adore Sophie Jordan's writing and her Ivy Chronicles series. If you're a fan of new adult contemporary books and not yet reading this series, what exactly are you waiting on? It's true that Tease can be read as a standalone, but if you did that, you'd be missing out on Reece and Pepper, and believe me when I say, you don't want that.
