A prequel to the book See Me. After losing his best friend to suicide, Zane begins a new life at a new school. In an effort to change his problematic, as his parents say, behaviours... he tries to reinvent himself. As he's starting to heal from his own trauma, he begins to notice a girl that seems waist deep in her own. The problem is, she doesn't know he exists.
