Dalai Lama in Woodstock Celebrating the United Nations International Day of Peace

Among humanity there are so many different varieties of people that we need a variety of approaches to achieve the same goal. That goal is compassionate humanity and compassionate human society. That's what I believe, and that's my message. This little book commemorating His Holiness the Dalai Lama's visit to the town of Woodstock, New York, on the United Nations International Day of Peace, September 21, 2006, will serve as a reminder to the people of Woodstock, and their friends and neighbors, about the importance of the universal values of love, compassion, and warm heartedness.
