Goddess Boot Camp is an expansion of the rules of magic as seen through one teen's struggle to control hers. Each chapter begins with a Greek term and a definition that ties in with Phoebe's current lesson. I enjoyed the thought put into these rules and then seeing them play out.

Originally read this book in high school. Am on a bit of Greek Mythology kick right now so decided o read it again. It held up beautifully! Highly recommend for anyone interested in this topic or running, since the main character is a runner. Great writing and a great story.

Jeg elsket den! Den var litt som Percy Jackson (gresk mytologi, halvguder) og Hex Hall (gammel skole og hovedpersonens “attitude”) blandet sammen. Hovedpersonen Phoebe var morsom å lese om og hun var tøff og selvstendig. Boka inneholdt noen komiske scener som fikk meg til å smile og så var det selvfølgelig litt romantikk med (som også fikk meg til å smile). Det var ikke bare fokus på gudene. Slutten kom ikke like overraskende på meg som leser, som den gjorde på Phoebe, men jeg tror heller ikke det var meningen, så det gjorde ingenting. Har veldig lyst til å få med meg neste bok også!
