Would have been a 4 if there wasn’t SO much misunderstanding between the main characters throughout the whole book. I hate when the characters withhold their feelings or even the truth for too long and have lots of miscommunication. If you take away that then I loved it! 

The authors writing is like poetry and I am depressed to find out that she passed away in the 80s and only has the 2 books. Another book checked off my medieval romance phase lol.
