So the heroine finds an unconscious hero in the woods, kisses him like he’s Sleeping Beauty, and when he wakes up with no memory, she tells him that he is her betrothed. How disturbing is that? A LOT. Should the heroine’s actions be condoned? DEFINITELY NOT. Yet, I absolutely LOVED this book!

The author somehow made the old amnesia trope work in the story’s favor. The hero was finally able to let go of his past anger and resentment and learned to be happy again. I also enjoyed the secondary romance between the hero’s cousin and his best friend a lot.

This was my first Teresa Medeiros book and I’m excited to read her other stuff too!
