This one’s going on my favorites shelf! A Pirate romance at its best!! Both the hero and the heroine were likable and absolutely perfect for each other. So funny, charming and tender! 

The pacing at the beginning of Part 2 dragged a bit, but other than that, it was very well written. When recommending this book, I’d have to add a disclaimer about problematic descriptors used for Asian and Black characters, but this book came out in 1994, so I went in with that understanding.

Its a bodyguard/enemies-to-friends-to-enemies-to-lovers romance all in one wonderfully entertaining package. Loved it!!
