Instruction Manual Number 1

Terri Weifenbach's large-format, one-off original prints come with a set of unbound color copies of various details found within the photograph. The artist refers to these simple portfolios as "instruction manuals". The details function as emotional operating instructions for viewing the photograph from which they were taken. We are now pleased to offer a limited edition book entitled Instruction Manual No I, offering twelve details of one of Weifenbach's best-known images, "21. May 1995". In addition to the twelve four-color reproductions, the book contains a tipped-in original photograph measurings 2 3/4 x 4 1/4. Terri Weifenbach's work has been exhibited throughout the United States and Japan. Instruction Manual No I, her third book, is printed in an edition of 500 casebound copies, each numbered and signed by the artist. A Nazraeli Press One Picture Book.
