I know this is a novelisation of the film, but the story progression is quite slow. Terry Brooks much really enjoy using the word “wheeled” as it is used heavily in the first quarter of the book. 
There were parts of the book I like, some interesting story points that are added but I thought I would enjoy this more than I did. Honestly, the film is much better.
