This reads like fan fiction it’s so far fetched but once you get over how ridiculous it is then it’s fun to daydream and get lost in it! Also sexy!

Oof. This is a miss by Tessa Bailey. I've loved every book by them I've ever read, but this just didn't do it for me. 

You know how Disney really heavily markets the whole obsession/romance/happily ever after to young girls? That's what this felt like, it felt like the guy was so infatuated by the female lead that it was borderline creepy. 

Tldr: great spice, but not a believable adult relationship at all.

I absolutely loved this book. It is horny as hell and the characters are absolutely unhinged in a classic Tessa Bailey way. It gave me the save vibes as It Happened One Summer as far as the banter and interactions go. 

As the parent of a T1D it makes me so happy to find representation like this. The amount of research and thought that so clearly went into writing Josephine is amazing.

Having only read a couple of Tessa Baily’s books in the past when I saw that she had a new series starting I was excited to give start and I have to say that I really enjoyed getting swept up in the romance of this one, The Characters and Sports romance all kept me hooked and there was even an ending that I didn’t really see coming. It was a story where both main characters go on a journey throughout the book and come out as better people.

Josephine is Wells Whitaker's biggest fan. And every time Wells comes past her town, she is on the side of the green, cheering him on. She also recently won a competition for Lunch with Wells and is super excited about spending one-on-one time with him. Unfortunately, Wells has lost his drive. His career has taken a nosedive and while he was once a rising star, now due to his temper and personality, almost no one wants to touch him. He's lost most of his support and subsequently hurts Josephine's feelings by being mean to her. However, something from their conversation sticks with him. And after a devastating hurricane hits her pro shop, he makes a deal with her, that he will help her with the funding if she becomes his caddie.

Overall the relationship between them both shone of the page. Josephine helps him navigate his emotions and issues and helps him find love in his game and himself. And I absolutely love their chemistry, attraction, their flirting, their banter, their heartfelt moments and their funny moments! There were moments where I squealed and giggled and moments sometimes out loud on the train.

The one thing that did however detract was that the romance progressed very quickly. They were only together for a couple of days before they started acting on their feelings. I kept wondering if the situation had been, that one of them didn't reciprocate those feelings, that would cross serious professional boundaries; what with it being a work romance.

I don’t think I’ve ever read a fan fiction about golf, so that was original. Also, loved that this had a FMC with T1D and how she grew from her diagnosis vs letting it define her. Tessa Bailey never lets down her readers!

I now understand the Tessa Bailey hype and this isn’t even one of her heavy hitters. This is a GOLF ROMANCE, and it was fabulous. Color me impressed

We are so close to a good heterosexual sports romance i can feel it. Tessa bailey has her finger on the pulse. The passion of golf from both main characters had me going but I do wish their relationship wasn’t that fast paced ! I’m still thinking about the winning scene at the end. Wells deserved that title, maybe bad boy golfer is a real thing. Also second Tessa bailey book with an ass eating scene i’ve read (not a fan)
