I did enjoy the final book but at some parts I was just left very confused. I also found it disconcerting how the author would change from a first person narrative to a third person one. I feel like some points weren't explained well enough. 
However, I do believe that this series is mostly a character driven book and boy did I grow attached to the characters! I've got to admit, Sam aka Nugget did my head in at times especially during his chapters. Ben remains my favourite character. 
The ending was what made the book. We came full circle and I enjoyed how the author didn't wrap the story with a nice little bow and a cherry on top. It was probably one of the most realistic endings I've read in a long time!

I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this book. There were parts that I really liked, but parts that I really did not like, so there's that. 

It was a bit underwhelming, and honestly still quite confusing.
