*I got this book for review and I gave it 3.5 stars*

I thought this book was the prefect balance between dungeons and dragons and the middle grade set. I really loved the two leads. I thought some of the world building was a tad confusing. We also met some many characters super fast and some of the names confused me. I really enjoyed this story. It was a fast pace read and I am super excited to read book 2. I really liked the world building in this novel and it was a very fun read.

This was just alright to me. I had to force myself to finish it. I liked the idea and didn't mind the characters too much. but honestly there was just something about this book that i couldn't get into. it may have just been me at the time but unfortunately i just really wasn't into it.

Overall this was an interesting concept and I enjoyed the magic system and the different guilds and what they had to offer. It was however kind of obvious that it was written by two authors (I could almost pick who wrote what parts) and it was also obvious it was a debut novel. 

Overall and enjoyable read but not sure I’m interested enough to continue the series.

I should probably start at the beginning, Zed wrote, when things first went wrong?. Zed, Brock, and their friends may have saved Freestone from destruction, but the fight against the Dangers is far from over.
