This series was the perfect brain cleanse that I needed. Devastating enough, but simple at the same time. I adored the characters, and it was predictable in the best way.

I felt like I could tell what was gonna happen from the beginning of the book. It felt very predictable. The only part that caught me by surprise was the Jameson thing. I enjoyed it but it just wasn’t that exciting.

not sure what to think, I wasn’t rooting for Etan and Hollis in the beginning but then I was, eventually I wasn’t anymore and I’m not sure why. What I do know is that I love Valentina the most.

After the first book, I barely had any expectations for the sequel. And this book still managed to utterly dissapoint me...

A serious improvement from the previous book… so good I stayed awake the entire night to finish it.
I just wish I could attach a picture of the tears running down my face for the last part of the book 😭😭

I received this book through net galley in exchange for an honest review. This book was miles better than the first one. First off there was an actual plot that was clear from the beginning and second, there was an incredible romance that was actually developed throughout the book. Hollis and Etan were so freaking cute, I am always a sucker for a good enemies to lovers trope. *spoiler* Seeing them work together to take down the kings was so satisfying I was going to be so upset if they didn't get their happy ending. Watching them both grow as people and learn to rule their kingdoms and then join then together was just wonderful. It made up for the travesty that was the first book. *spolier*

As a big fan of Keira Cass, I was yet again pleased with her novel. I enjoyed the second installment of this duo loft more than the first one I will admit. This genre of story is my favorite and she always creates such beautiful vivid imagery with her writing that I throughly enjoy. Can’t wait for her next novel!!

IO can't wait for this to come out I LOVED IT SO MUCH THAT LIKE I CANT EVEN DEAL WITH MY EMOTIONS

disrespectfully fuck this series it was so bad

Super predictable but I LOVED IT!

This was the ending I needed! Once again a Kiera Cass book that's absolutely a favorite. I totally new how it was going to end but it was still so well written, I LOVED IT 😫

I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was a lot better than The Betrothed and if you got through that one then this was a nice prize. The romance in this book was lovely and sweet but not in the main focus most of the time yet still present. My only issue with this book was that towards the end certain events, especially Jameson's death, seemed anticlimactic and quick and done for what seems out of convince. I have possible thoughts on why some events may have read like this but think the execution of those intensions may have fallen a bit short. Overall I really enjoyed this read and it was pretty quick in pacing and once the action got started it kept piling on which made this a good and interesting read

This one was slightly better than the first one, but still really enjoyable. Much more action packed but still kinda bad but fun at the same time.

People were not their introductions. They were not their lineage or country. They were but themselves. And we had to dig past all the rest to find them.

I stood, pulling the handkerchief from my wrist and tying it to the end of his lance.
OMG. KIERA. DONT FAIL ME. IM IN LOVE

“as of this morning, when Lady Hollis holds up her cup, it is filled. If she rings a bell, it gets answered. For better or worse… she’s part of the family, and she'll be treated as such."
AHHHHHHHHH. THIS IS MAKING UP FOR THE BOOK ONE. I KINDA HOPE A CERTAIN CHARACTER STAYS AWAY

-Tú no estás mal-respondí.
Pero según ellos se odian
