This is my first ever read of Max Monroe. And I was really nervous at first. It was a tough start for me and it felt extremely slow at the beginning. About halfway through the book it picked up speed and was very enjoyable. Greer is a strong willed, intelligent and hard working woman. She is so sarcastic (which I really enjoyed and is the only thing I truly liked about her) and very sassy. She will tell you where to go without a second thought. At times I thought she was annoying and childlike. Trent was very likeable, funny and great with comebacks. But not book boyfriend material for me personally, but I really enjoyed him as a whole. He seems to have a very rugged exterior and come off as an asshole but it was definitely is all a front. He is easygoing but very hard to please. I loved reading how they went from enemies, to friends, to lovers. They have great chemistry and played off of each other very well. The writing style is interesting and overall I really enjoyed the book. It is fun and entertaining and a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2 star read from me! Thank you to Social Butterfly PR and Max Monroe for the ARC for an honest review!
