Amazing! This book was even better than the last. I loved every minute of it, devoured it in 4 hours! Everly’s emotions were so strong, I felt so related to and understood. She was the perfect character. I loved the growth between her and Savannah as well. Hux was the best, hands down. His and Everly’s relationship was perfect and such a whirlwind! I just finished it and already want to reread. Can’t wait for more!

** spoiler alert ** Are you serious? She took him back not once but twice. First after he basically accused her of being a gold digger and asking her if she’s only with him because of the money and all he had to say was he was sorry and that’s he’s an idiot and you forgave him but the threat Ev ,ace was no sex for week she didn’t even stick to that. The second time being at the end when he didn’t believe her about Katie stealing his paintings saying he didn’t believe her or anything not even trusting his own wife who’s been great and forgave you for your fuck ups. AND SHE TOOK HIM BACK AFTER ONE CHAPTER AND A EPILOGUE WITHH LITTKE TO NO GROVELING. Are you fucking serious all this man has to say is sorry and he was in the wrong and very haunts magically fixed I am so disappointed in this book.

ding ding ding!!! the best marriage of convenience couple goes to everly and hux my main stinks

Really cute small town marriage of convenience

4.5 stars JUSTICE FOR EVERLY!!! Goddamn. It really broke my heart how pretty much all of the people in Hux's life (Hux included) treated her so unfairly. She did a lot for him and for Savannah, and it really hurt when they treated her like dirt. Or when Hux wouldn't trust her/give her the benefit of the doubt. She didn't deserve any of it. Especially after what she'd been through. Every time Everly's feelings were hurt, mine were hurt lol. Everly was incredibly giving, strong, patient, and just a genuinely good person. No, she wasn't perfect, but she felt very real and I just wanted to hug her so many times. I understand Hux had all these walls up due to his past but holy fuck. Grow up!!! Everly deserved better. Though I absolutely did appreciate the groveling at the end plus everything he did to win her back. The ending saved Hux for me for sure lmao. The last 20% of this had me in tears. I loved all of the father-daughter moments between Hux and Savanah. My heart was so happy to see them come together and make up for lost time. Plenty of good tropes in this one. Absolutely loved it.

Marriage-of-convenience where the grumpy artist hero with a permanent scowl on his face doesn’t want to get married, but does it to try to get custody of his daughter. But he also says, “No one touches my wife.”

Marriage-of-convenience where the grumpy artist hero with a permanent scowl on his face doesn’t want to get married, but does it to try to get custody of his daughter. But he also says, “No one touches my wife.” It's set in a small town that will make you want to immediately pack and move! Full RTC.

*Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review* Rating: 5 Stars! bookboyfriendsdoitbetter.com Holy crap do I love this book! I devoured this in one sitting and it completely made my day! it's been a couple of weeks since I read this and I'm STILL thinking about this story and all the characters. I am so excited for the rest of the books. I had been anticipating Hux and Everly since the ending of book 1 and they seriously did not disappoint! It was actually BETTER than what I was anticipating. Everly and Hux's relationship was amazing and I loved seeing them grow together. This small town just gets better and better! It's been a while since I started a new small town series that has become a favorite and this is the one! Willa Nash/Devney Perry just has a way with words and can convey so much emotion through them and I'm feeling the need to go through her entire backlist so that I don't have to leave her writing style...if that makes sense lol.
