This book beautifully explores the theme of friendship, and what’s truly remarkable is that Charlie Mackesy created it with the support of his friends and gave the credit to them at the end of the book 🧡

esse livro tem, depois de hoje, todo o meu coração. ainda surpresa e tocada pela beleza e alma dessa história e dessas ilustrações tão lindas.
espero carregar essa obra dentro do meu coração pelo resto do meu caminho no horizonte <3.

this is the kind of the book where parts of it resonates with you at different times

This is such a beautiful book. The art is cute and charming, I love the loose and "messy" lines. The words within are like a much needed warm hug. I have a few pages especially that just felt right.

Do you have any other advice?" asked the boy.
"Don't measure how valuable you are by the way you are treated," said the horse.
This was an audiobook and I assure you it’s almost as good as and even better than the actual book itself. Heartwarming Little Prince like story that has given me peace and hope during the time I listened.

** spoiler alert ** This book is so lovely. Will you finish it in less than 15 minutes? Yes. Will you probably keep it in your heart for all of eternity? Also yes. At first, I was surprised when I opened this book. I’d thought it to be just a regular children’s book. But I have to say I immediately fell in love with it. The little notes, the handwriting, the illustrations, the tea cup stain — they all make this book seem so personal, like it was written just for you and given to you as a young child for you to hold onto. The story doesn’t matter - you could open any page at any time and just be touched by whatever’s on that page, and I have to admit that it made me tear up a couple of times. This book is very dear to my heart and I’ll definitely come back to it again from time to time. 🤎

This was such a lovely book, with such an amazing message.

Super corny and definitely for kids. But has very sweet messages attached to sweet illustrations. It’s always nice to get a quick reminder about how simple life can be.

How Bloody Sweet Is This Book.

I LOVE THIS BOOK. yes, that's all the review is.

Beautiful illustrations and important reminders.

Beautiful illustrations and sentiments.

This was a fast read for obvious reasons, but as the introduction states, this is good for ages 8 to 80. Such a good reminder of what life is and how to move through it.

** spoiler alert ** Indescribably gorgeous. Every page can stand alone as a reflection of reality in its most raw, precious form. "Everyone is a bit scared," said the horse. "But we are less scared together." Edit: okay, but the font is, indeed, atrocious.

4.5 stars i literally have never seen this book in my life until i see it as the "barnes and noble book of the year." and now i see why. i never thought that this would be a favorite (and if anyone can get it for me, i will forever love you so much). i also never thought about how much i need this in my life. there are times that i question my place here (not in a suicidal way, but times when i feel down). and this book can make me feel so inspired and hopeful that i feel so much better. sure, the writing and the artwork may be messy at times throughout the book in my opinion. overall, i feel like reading this in time for christmas and the need to be loved by people, i love this book in a weirdly beautiful way.

tolerable saccharine pull me ups quotes. pretty neat to own as a coffee table book tho. like if one of your guests pick it up and being reminded of the 'good' and 'kind' at least you have your share of it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

“So much beauty we need to look after.”

everyone needs to read this book some point in their lives

Absolutely stunning and a reminder to be kinder to ourselves

"I've discovered something better than cake." "No you haven't," said the boy. "I have," replied the mole. "What is it?" "A hug. It lasts longer." This book feels like a warm hug ❤
