Tanya Kaitlin was about to have a relaxing night in but as she gets a video call from her best friend Karen Ward that’s when her nightmare begins. Karin is gagged and bound to a chair, the demonic voice claims that if Tanya disconnects the call, looks away from the camera he will come after her next. There is no doubt that Chris Carter is the master of writing crime fiction with the return of the iconic detective duo Hunter and Garcia. I can’t get enough of this series and I can’t wait to get my hands on his next book when it comes out!

This book was a dropped ball from carter in my opinion it just didnt click with me, the deaths seemed shocking for shocks sake and there were long breaks between action which made it a tricky book to get through, I would personally say you can skip this one, unless you're a series completionist like myself.
