“I don’t know what I need anymore,” he whispers as he stares at me.

Daniel’s grip around my waist tightens. “Go to hell.”

“I said. Get. Your. Fucking. Hands. Off. Her.”

Elliott thinking in his head it would be easy to fall for Kate, even though he doesn’t do relationships.

“And you could be a normal boring guy and fall for me.”

Okay idk why I thought I'd give this another go after the first book was so bad but I cannot do it. The writing style is not for me and the constant sexist comments are unbearable. These are one of the worst book men I have ever had the displeasure of reading about.

He seriously rolled his eye when she had period cramps so bad and passed out from the meds after he called a woman who was doing her job and trying to help a "condescending cow". What a man ladies and gentlemen!

did i actually read it? no. did i read screenshots of maybe the most traumatizing scenes? yes. so i deserve this (ps its not literally traumatizing as in oh tw but its definitely a struggle to finish certain parts). ALSO CAN HE STOP CALLING HER A WENCH PLEASE I BEG OF HIM.

I’ll start off by saying Elliot Miles is a complete dickhead! I disliked him for about 90% of the book, up until the end when he had to grovel like hell. Even then I still wasn’t won over completely. The spice was awkward for me and I found myself feeling bad for Kate a lot of the time. The chemistry between Elliot and Kate was nonexistent to me. I really liked Kates character and damn it Elliot does not deserve her! It doesn’t take a genius to see the twist coming, I saw it coming half way through. I will say I really do enjoy the relationship between the Miles brothers and I ate up those tid bits we got of them.. Especially of Daddy Tris (big swoon forever). I think this one had sooo much potential, but it just didn’t do it for me like The Takeover.

This is my second favourite of the series so far (The Takeover being my favourite), though I did find the storyline better in this one, it was more interesting, but it did seem like the build up was really long and the ending happened really quickly. The possessiveness and romance in this one is still really good, and the characters are really good too. Onto book 4!

Elliot e os patos, Elliot e os partos, Elliot e os patos. Por favor, alguém eu faça um filme desta cena porque não acho que tenha rido tanto em nenhuma outra. 
Apesar de ter adorado este livro, pois tem exatamente os mesmos ingredientes que os dois primeiros, ODIEI a personagem do Daniel e achei totalmente parvo da parte dele *aquela cena nos capítulos finais*. Apesar disso, os protagonistas valeram a pena. Embora tenha odiado o Elliot pela decisão dele não deixei de compreender e de achar completamente coerente relativamente à pessoa que ele foi durante o livro inteiro sobretudo a sua obsessão com o destino e como certas coisas nos são predestinadas. 
Adorei o final, sobretudo como a Kate decidiu o que queria e não queria, a viagem que fez e o Elliot implorar um pouquinho. 
Neste livro deu para conhecer muito mais do Christopher e mal posso esperar pelo livro dele (POR FAVOR AGOSTO, CHEGA LOGO!)

Eliot and Kate might be my new favorites. This book was the perfect enemies to lovers with all the banter it entails while also keeping it sweet with the messages through the online dating website. I loved this book even when I wanted to slap them both silly.

An amazing Enemies-to-Lovers with STEAMY spice. Elliot can dirty talk with the best of them. 

Elliot is a very private person by nature. He doesn’t flaunt around his love affairs (at least not serious ones). TL Swan wrote amazing in the beginning showing how much these two truly despised working with each other and the way she wrote Elliot changing his mind was mind altering because she wrote it in such a way that had to feeling it in you. All of the sudden he saw an attraction and not the annoying women who made him infuriated. 

Watching them fall in love when they were supposed to be “Friends with Benefits” was breath taking because it really seemed as if they just couldn’t control it. 

I loved how this story was wrapped up because I truly could see it coming but at the same time TL Swan didn’t give much away through the book. It had me in tears Reading Kate go through the heart break had me in tears at her pain.

This is absolutely my favorite of the series so far. I have never laughed so hard (out loud) reading a book. Watch out for hard surfaces folks! Elliot and Kate make for a great duo, it’s basically an enemies to lovers and boy do they get to become lovers. This was so fun to read and I will be re-reading it many times.

Ok so I read the Stopover and TheTakeover so fast and are it up! Then was so sad I couldn’t read Cassanova as it wasn’t released. But oh the surprise once I saw it on NetGalley! 

So thankful that I received a copy because I couldn’t wait! And let me tell you it did not disappoint!

Elliot was everything! And it typical Miles Brother’s fashion he did frustrate me at times but his development and his heart sucked me in. My boy was simping hard by the end! 

Kate was so fascinating. I loved see her open herself up again and because the person she wanted to be and find the life she wanted.

The over arcing theme of “Are things meant to be or are they simply a matter of circumstances?”was always pulling threads at all my theories. Deciding between what you think you want and what is meant for you. 

Their romance developed so differently from the other books and yet it made me love it so much more. I laughed and I cried. I even had to stop and tan myself from some of the spicey scenes! 

And don’t get me started on the rest of the Miles Brother’s and their families cameos! My heart was full I was so happy!!

Somehow my favorite in the trilogy. I love Elliott's character (there's a fun twist). Liked how snarky the female lead is — expressive and not helpless. Nice "fantasy" and hopeless romantic touch. Such an interesting read! It was hot and hilarious, too.

Great read if you're looking for romance and a lifestyle fantasy. And some "manners maketh a man" vibe with all the luxury chills.

Je suis fan de TL Swan. Elle écrit des livres de Q mais avec une vraie histoire de fond, elle celle-ci m'a transportée. Egalement, le fait que Elliot n'est pas peur de ses sentiments, qu'il soit un éternel romantique, franchement, c'est rare et j'ai adoré cet aspect.

I loved this trilogy! The Miles brothers are amazing and I loved reading about Elliot and Kate, the enemies to lovers part was the best and I really enjoyed reading their journey from hating to loving each other.

Kate has worked for Elliot’s company for 7 years and they’ve always hated each other. Kate always fights Elliot back but I loved their banter and their sarcastic conversations. One day Elliot sees her on camera and something changes in him, he starts seeing her differently and little by little they start sharing more about each other. 

After loosing her parents Kate doesn’t care much about dating and trying to look good for others so when a new roommate moves in, he helps her by dressing her up and styling her and that’s when Elliot takes an interest on her. At first she doesn’t follow his lead but she realizes he’s charming and sweet when he wants to be so she caves on being with him.

They fought a lot throughout the book, Elliot was very private so Kate some times felt like he didn’t care enough but then he would do something nice and everything was okay again. They had a lot of chemistry and I loved their steamy scenes, they both knew what they wanted and despite their fights they always ended up together.

There was a twist at the end that at first I didn’t see coming but halfway through the book I had my suspicions about it and at the end I was right, so I loved how they realized everything and how they were meant to be together from the beginning.

I’m not sure I’ve ever laughed so much during a book. It was hilarious. The banter was great, the spice was great, the dirty talk was on point, and the angst had me pacing my house and venting to my housemate.

Elliot is a romantic dreamer who believes he’ll know as soon as he meets The One, and until then won’t do relationships. Kate is a woman who hasn’t put herself out there since her parents died. They’ve hated each other since they met 7 years ago. And he’s her boss. Somehow they find themselves in a frenemies with benefits situation. What could go wrong?

I wanted to reach into the book many times to give the characters a good shake or snack on the back of their head but if a book doesn’t make you feel, is it really worth it?

This book was worth it.

This book is truly amazing! The enemies-to-lovers aspect is real on this one. Kate and Miles have hated each other for seven years. They’re ruthless, especially Miles, who doesn’t hold anything back. 

But once these two come together, it’s hot, steamy, may need some ice cubes to help. 

And the overall plot had my heart tight and close to crying. It’s such a fantastic balance of steam and hot, sweet and romantic, emotional and dreamy.

I’m very conflicted because I could not put this book down and I think it was my favorite of the series and I loved the chemistry between Elliott and Kate…but also, there were some kind of weird and cringe things in here. Elliott and Kate were so volatile and honestly, at times it was toxic. 

Most of all I’m just so confused as to why she made up a fake city on Oahu called Mayweather??? As in, Mayweather, Oahu???? What?? If you’re going to make up a city on Oahu, why would you choose Mayweather???

Still, I devoured this. Ugh, I’m absolute trash for TL Swan. I’d probably have given it a 5 star rating were it not for the slight cringe moments and Mayweather, Oahu, which I will never get over.
