** spoiler alert ** 3.75,,, i would like to ask what on gods green earth was that? the ending of this book has me furious? girlie spends 350 pages talking about how much she loves her sister for her to at the end give up on said sister. also why did her sister not come back for her. like she spent 350 pages being like “i need you” and then she kills one man in a very not normal situation and thinks oh no guess i’ll go into hiding and not tell my sister anything. i’ll let her think i’m dead for 2 years and let her tear her life apart for me whilst i sit here and raise the child of the man i murdered

A gripping thriller, that kept me turning the page and literally could not put down. I binged most of this book in a day. The tension of this book builds up until its so intense you can't put it down. We follow ervin the sister of Lori, two years after the plan wreckage with no idea what happened to her sister. When the pilot is found alive two years on, Erin vows she will find out what happened to her sister. We then follow Lori, two years before, on the island. We learn what happened during her time on the island and what happened to the survivors. I cant express how much I enjoyed reading this one, I didnt expect to become so hooked on it, but it was gripping. This book is full of thrills, twists, turns and surprises that I didnt see coming. It had me feeling on the edge of my seat at times aswell. It was well written and plotted out well. The secrets unfolding at the right times. The characters were intriguing and believable. Such an amazing read.

Good book but it had a bit of a slow start which meant i had to persevere in order to complete but once it’s hit it’s peak it was really good!!

** spoiler alert ** 3.5 but rounded up because it was fun and I read it in nearly one sitting. This book broke my reading stump! I'm popping a spoiler in because I like to read them and I couldn't find one for this book. The baby is okay in the end

3.5* fast paced and addictive, the castaways is an entertaining, easy and gripping read that will have you hooked from the first page until the last.
