A solid read, enjoyable.

Honestly...
I don't know.
Maybe life hit a little harder and it made focusing on the book a little harder, but for whatever reason I wasn't as gripped by this as I usually am.
Obviously I got teary eyed by the ending but I'm still not as fully convinced that these guys have a be all undying love connection.
This wasn't The Notebook, Me Before You, or A Walk To Remember- but it is Nicholas Sparks, and it was a good book but I just- missed the connection they have I guess.

5 Awesome Lovely Outstanding Stars! Hi BookLovers, I know I know, I was Thirteen years late and I am so freaking sorry. I was reading this yesterday and I watch the movie at night and guess what? I'm so in love. I especially love the book ofcs but the movie is not that bad. I don't know but I kinda love this more than The Notebook hehe :) I really appreciate the writing and every chapter is just amazing but we all know the Author never gonna let us down so I'm not surprise that I love work just that it took me years to come to my sense and read this. Highly Recommended :)

This book is one of the best from Nicholas Sparks.. :):) I love the characters, plot, endings, well particularly everything about it. It has been entertaining, funny, heart-wrenching, and romantic all at the same time. The book has two parts. To make things simple and not spoiling anything, i'll say: Part 1 is the happy part, Part 2 is more of a roller-coaster ride (a lot of emotional feelings involved) ;) Travis Parker is a man with a good job, a lot of good friends, and a life full of new experiences. He's the type of guy who wants to try out everything there is to try in life, but Travis never got a serious relationship that leads to a stable life. Not until he met his new neighbor, Gabby Holland. From the very first time since Gabby moved next door, Travis has been trying his best to be a good neighbor. He even sent a basket of gift as a sign of welcome to her. But it seems that Gabby is angry with him about something. One day, Gabby suddenly confronted Travis regarding her dog -Molly- being pregnant. She thinks that Molly is pregnant because of Travis's dog -Moby- did something. That's the first time they met and it leaves a great impression on both of them. One thing leads to the next. It seems everything was just a misunderstanding and Gabby felt so ashamed, so she tried her best to avoid Travis. Remembering Travis is her neighbor, she can do nothing about it. Travis has been very forgiving about their first meeting and even invited her to join a get-together with his friends. Travis is attracted to Gabby, and actually Gabby does to, but she doesn't want to admit it. Because at the time, Gabby was dating someone named Kevin. It leaves her with the choice to choose between her long-relationship with Kevin, or a new-relationship with a guy named Travis whom she just knew for a few days? Well, the story doesn't stop there actually. Remember, there's a part 2 to this story. And i can't say anything at all about the Part 2 without spoiling it in anyway. It just struck me as unbelievable at first. I was on the verge of crying by the end of the story. Beautiful, absolutely amazing story. :):) Now outside of the story, i have to say i loveee Travis's sister, Stephanie. She's just so witty and funny. I also love Travis's character in the story, because his image seems really fun and i think it'll be comfortable being around a person like him. *i especially love the part where his sexy hip was described* :DD Great story! I would voluntarily give more than 5 stars if it's possible. :):)

So good! One of my favorite Nicholas Sparks novels by far!

Goodreads PLEASE let me do half-star reviews okay this book doesn’t even deserve ONE!!! There was not a single good decision made in this entire book. Also AGAIN WITH THE CHEATING, NICHOLAS??? Can we maybe get a less toxic trope??? Honestly at this point I’ll take seventeen-year-olds getting married again over THIS.

Okay so I really enjoyed this, and it was light and funny and romantic and just what I needed right now but it wasn't a OH MY GOD YOU HAVE TO READ IT, ya know? But I did really love this and I loved how it took place in Beaufort/Morehead City because I've been there multiple times and Moby is a boxer and I have two of them and it just made his so much more enjoyable. Also, Shackleford Banks is amazing and I love the wild horses there. It's great when you know exactly what a novel is describing.

**4.5

That was honestly the first "solely -romance" book that I've enjoyed (and also the only Nicholas Sparks I liked)

MY HEART :'O

Another great Nicholas Sparks’ novel. Full of a roller coaster of emotions and ups and downs but amazing as always!

Honesty, I loved it. You get super attached to the characters, and just fall in love with the story. Some might not like the ending, I also thought it was sorta cheesy. But this IS a Romance book. It's okay to be cheesy sometimes.

Not my favorite Nicholas Sparks novel, but these are just so fast and addicting to read!
