i finally read it! 😁

3.5

its impossible to rate a manifesto tbh so no stars but! its nice to read it broadens ur perspective makes u understand things. tbf he made some points definitely during the parts about child labour and public schools being free and the bourgeoisie using the women as means of production so yeahhh… the ideals mentioned in this are amazing and credible etc but it could never work irl just because of the way they want to achieve those ideals LMAO starting a war is not nice

Invigorating succinctness and shocking insight into history, still relevant today.

Flatmate: Your beard looks thicker today. Have you been reading about Communism again?

Good for those who want an introduction to Marx's thoughts and the relevant time period.

Tja, jammer dat de laatste zin al gespoiled is.

This book is considered a very popular book still to this day. I would recommend reading it whether or not you agree or disagree with Marx and Engels. No matter ones opinion it’s impossible to deny the political and historical importance of this little book. The interesting thing for me though is how it seems like no country has ever implemented Communism as it was originally envisioned. Is the original concept impossible to implement?

The legend, the blueprint. Short and succinct and to the point; nothing new for anyone who has been living through the past two years and radicalized to the left as a result or read any other socialist, but it's still good to read all of the important points laid out so clearly, especially the crucial distinctions of social democrats, aristocrats and the middle class. "Die Proletarier haben nichts in ihr zu verlieren als ihre Ketten. Sie haben eine Welt zu gewinnen. Proletarier aller Länder, vereinigt euch!"

Get a life you misguided cum rags

Fantastisk bok, innehåller mycket

Jen: Moss...I've fallen to the Communists. Moss: Well, they do have some very compelling arguments. This small but mighty work is a great showcase for the forcefulness of Marx's personality and his inexorable ability to argue. I don't agree with everything he says but I want to reread this all the same. Anyway, tag yourself, I'm "bourgeois socialist".

Good for a dystopian fiction, as a background & theme-of-sorts. Lol.

Interesting theory. Lacks detail and ignores edge cases.
