What the fuck was this ending? Why the cliffhanger? I don't have book 6. This should be illegal. Anyway, I really enjoyed this book. It was very fast paste and I wasn't bored for like one second. I loved the world expansion in this world. The only complaint I kind of have for this book is that I would have liked more about the American peculiar world but I still really liked the direction this book took. It didn't go an expected way but still realistic and understandable. My mind was blown multiple times during this book and just had such a GREAT time reading this book. I loved getting to know Noor better and liked the developement other characters went through. I'm just so freaking excited about this book. It left me pumped. I can't wait for book 6 right now. I just need to know what happened.

This series just doesn't get old. I love the characters, their development and the storyline. I loved the evolution of Miss Peregrine in this book. How she finally accepted the fact that the children were able to make their own decisions, etc. I'm pretty intrigued by the end and can't wait to read book 6!!

Did I enjoy this? Sure. Was it necessary? not at all. There seemed to be a really interesting direction for this second trilogy talking about a whole new set of peculiar interactions and a whole new world maybe fighting for/against a prophecy. Instead, we are getting a really lazy "bring back the big bad" trope. It's fun, but kind of dumb. I'll read the next one because maybe it'll make up for how listless this one felt.

I really enjoyed the previous books but this one kinda of dragged the story out a bit too much. Even though the ending was in a cliffhanger I find myself contempt to take a break from this world.

I didn't feel the magic of the other books in this one. Still, it was absolutely amazing.

ransom always does an amazing job writing about this world and cast of characters. i felt it was a little more fast-paced than the other books, but i really liked it. even though it wasn’t perfect, the world ransom has built has my heart. i loved this book

3.5. Fun new addition to the series but feels like a few chapters — not a full novel.
