A Novel

I picked this book off the shelf thinking, "this has been on my to be read shelf for awhile, I'll read it, donate it and get more space" oh was I so wrong. 
This book made me cry, made me smile, had an ambiance of cozy I havnt felt from a book in years. 
The story jumps from present day Olivia struggling with big decisions and big changes in her life and back to 1920's era during the war and cottingley fairies and there discovery and the sense of hope and wonder. I hate books that jump back and forth between different perspectives to be honest, I enjoy getting lost in a book and find when it switches perspective I get pulled out of the magic. This book did the switching beautifully, it was perfect timing and acknowledged of what had happened. 
This book is beautiful and I hope to share it with family in hopes they will receive the same sense of hope I recieved from reading it.
