When adapting a story as long, and as complicated, as Monte Christo into a shorter, non-text format, it becomes very necessary to make cuts to its content. Ena Moriyama is not exempt from this rule; however, of all the adaptations, Ena's is by far the most enjoyable and respectful. It is a genuinely good read with a lot of detail put into its art. The only critique I could give this version is in the human bodies; however, while they are certainly a bit inaccurate (the women especially are a bit overly-sexualized), they are not unbearable, and do not take away from the overall storyline. Overall, if you can find a way to get your hands on a copy of this manga, I heavily suggest you do so.
