Nice little quick read on Hygge.  I liked how the author broke the concept down into easy actionable items.  Maybe too many items.  Great resource for making lists and incorporating a thing or two you can do in your daily life to introduce Hygge.  

After reading, I’d like to dive deeper into Danish culture and psychology.

I read this book while having lunch. I was curious after listening to this podcast "The hygge conspiracy", which talked about:

This year’s most overhyped trend is a wholesome Danish concept of cosiness, used to sell everything from fluffy socks to vegan shepherd’s pie. But the version we’re buying is a British invention – and the real thing is less cuddly than it seems

I got the book 10 minutes before grabbing lunch and by the end of my mexican burrito I finished it.
I loved the book because it was a fast and simple way to be introduced to the hygge concept. It was also good that I had the chance to have some extra context with the podcast (which I think is a good extra material to understand this "movement"). The book is all about hygge while the podcast is reluctant to this over hyped trend.

The author also talks about wabi sabi (Japan), friluftsliv (Norway), gemütlichkeit (Germany) or gezelligheid (Netherlands); I had no idea about this concepts and words to cope with the world today.

This won´t be the last hygga book I read, on the contrary, I liked it alot and I shall continue with wabi sabi in Japan.
