Masterful, beautifully-written multi-POV novel set in near-future Istanbul dealing with nanotechnology, focusing on characters who live or work around the so-called Dervish House (a square in an Istanbul neighbourhood). A little hard to follow at the beginning, but the seemingly disparate threads come together in a satisfying conclusion. Thoroughly deserving of its Hugo nomination.

Note on the Kindle edition: uses images to render weird Turkish letters, the result is out of sync with the font size.
