i’m honestly quite biased because i’ve been waiting to get to this quote for ages. however, i liked this even as someone who doesn’t think rin and nezha’s relationship (in the non-platonic sense) is nor should be a focal point of the story; always the enjoyer of alternative POVs, after all. kuang had some hitting lines in this, but the writing felt less polished for some reason.

I made the mistake to read this directly after The Burning God. I wept for hours. I would devor an entire book written from Nezha's point of view, it would be so interesting. Enemies to lovers back to enemies is the most cruel thing I've ever read😭 I loved them together 🥺

It was refreshing to see Nezha's POV. I wish there was more of his side if the story.

Short (maybe 15 pages) work about some of the events of the series through Nezha's eyes. The way he talks about Rin? Someone sedate me. Seeing things through Nezha's POV makes me want a sad cig and a good cry session.

tdf completely reframes the rinezha dynamic and i still haven’t moved on, so for that i’m pushing the rating up to the 5 stars it deserves. stream mtr by taylor swift ok bye
