I feel like it takes a certain amount of skill to put together a well-crafted novella, and this sadly didn't cut it. It was so rushed and underdeveloped. There wasn't enough time dedicated to making a connection between the characters, so I didn't care about them. I didn't feel the chemistry, so I wasn't invested in their relationship. The whole thing felt over the top, but not in an "Oh my god, this is ridiculous, I love it," but more in a "How many pages are left?" way.
