A really interesting story about family and society

This book is classified as horror but in my opinion, it doesn’t quite fit there. I didn’t find it scary or anything, quite the contrary, it made me wonder about our current society. This fifth child is quite special and of course, he is not a loveable character but I think it is important to reflect on his behaviour and on which treatment could be appropriate. The story was nice, and there was little bit of suspense as to what to do with the child and what he was capable of doing. It shows an unhealthy and destructive love from a mother to her son. It is a really good book in the fact that it is not easily forgotten. I still think about the story sometimes, even though I have read it a few months ago. I saw that there is a sequel to this book, and I think it would really be interesting to read it.
