I know it's meant to mirror the playing experience of the first game but the Master Chief stuff especially was so dreary and plodding. And this happened, and this happened, and this happened, endlessly. The sections from other characters' points of view was much more interesting, but they all died so any investment I had in these characters has been destroyed.
