           This book was great and awesome Echo is one sassy badass and it's awesome. I can't wait for the next book to come out and find out what Echo and her friends will find out next.

I really wanted to like this book, especially after adding it to my to read list on the recommendation of one of my students. It's not that I disliked the book. However, a good chunk fell directly into the "eh" category. It did not rise above but it also did not succumb to some typical abhorrent tendencies of YA fantasy. I definitely will not be reading the rest of the books in the series.

I can't work out how I feel about 'The Girl at Midnight'. I think I will only know when the time comes for the next book to be released and whether or not I decide to read it. I'm just not sure.
