I am disappointed that the rest of this series has not matched the level of the first book. I won't be adding this series to my own personal library. That being said, this book was a step up from the second. Returning to England and the Machinist storyline definitely improved the book and the series. What I did like about the book: the development of both Emily and Mila. Emily throughout the series was an extremely underused character. What I didn't like about the book: all of the romances...far too contrived and awkward (specifically the "almost" sex scenes).
Also, what's the point of Jasper? I have yet to figure that out.
