When I started this novel, I felt out of place; it truly wasn't what I was expecting. The further I read, though, the easier it became to imagine "The Woman You Left Behind," Sophie's red hair, that look of courage and defiance in her eye. Seeing two women, separated by time but so alike between their lost loves and their perseverance, demonstrates the true strength between both characters. Hopefully, upon finishing this, I picked up a little of their strength too.

I loved this book. I loved the two stories and I loved the characters. I was surprised by one ending, but not the other. I have really enjoyed all of Jojo Moyes' books so far. I look forward to reading more from her.
