The Government

In a dystopian United States, civilians are sorted unevenly into two groups: desirables and undesirables. Seventeen-year-old Aria Hill was identified as an undesirable at birth. With little knowledge of the outside world, Aria lives within the walls of a government-run compound with her fellow undesirables. But when it is learned that the leader of the government, Gloria Chambers, wishes to begin the extermination of the undesirables, a government soldier, by the name of Jace, offers to lead Aria and her friends to safety in the form of the Resistance--the only group capable of taking out Chambers and her tyrannical government once and for all. As they begin to learn the magnitude of what Chambers has been able to achieve in her fifty-year rule, it quickly becomes a race against time to save what few are left of the human race from extinction.
