** spoiler alert ** 050820 giving it 3.5 stars 05062020 i'm trying to think of what rating to give. i loved baydare but some parts bothered me let me rant about a couple of things: - i hated the six year gap between tsoky and and tholy. it made no sense to me how we have that gap year and how baydare forgot about that when they started hooking up again. - apparently, dare went to therapy but we never got to see him go to therapy apart from that one scene in the end. dare refusing to go to therapy was a big part of tsoky but i felt like tholy just glossed over it.
The Hate of Loving You takes place six years later after the events of The Sin of Kissing You where Keyton and Bay are brought together again. Now I gotta say when the synopsis for this book was released and I saw the six years time jump I was skeptical about how the story was gonna conclude. But Maya delivers and the time jump actually beautifully wraps the plot to help with the character's progression. The conclusion to Bay and Keyton's story was written beautifully and so naturally that it is easy to forget how much has passed since they last saw each other. I loved how easy they communicated with each other and how the bond between them is so strong even after several years. It was so nice to see Fulton U gang appear in this, it really brought it all to an end. This is definitely one series I will be revisiting ARC kindly provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.
